Executive Order 6 Establishes a Uniform Statewide Antidiscrimination Policy

Signed on March 1, 2017, Executive Order 6 establishes a uniform antidiscrimination policy for the state government and its personnel. Subsequently, in accordance with state and federal laws, the Human Resources Management Division of the State of Delaware Office of Management and Budget will update its statewide antidiscrimination policies into a single, uniform policy which will become the controlling standard for all executive branch agencies. The new policy is required to be in place by April 1, will permit standardized training of state personnel, and will otherwise allow more effective and efficient promotion of equal employment opportunities.
